Premier League Hull City v Sunderland live streaming and Highlights

Phil Brown admits the prospect of managing Sunderland does appeal - but has again ruled out any possibility of leaving Hull for the Stadium of Light.

South Shields-born Brown was heavily linked with the Wearside vacancy after Roy Keane resigned a fortnight ago but has consistently distanced himself from the job.

With Sunderland still to appoint Keane's successor and the Black Cats due to visit the KC Stadium on Saturday, Brown continues to be asked about the position - but his answer remains the same.

Brown said: "Of course it is a job that would interest me - it is one of the top jobs in the country.

"But I have got unfinished business here. There is a massive job at Hull City in progress, and I fully intend to see it through."

Brown has lifted Hull from the lower reaches of the Coca-Cola Championship to the top six of the Barclays Premier League in his two years in charge.

On-loan Chesterfield goalkeeper Trevor Carson will return to Sunderland in January after the club confirmed they will be recalling him.Carson has made 20 appearances for Chesterfield, who have been given advance notice of the recall in order to find an alternative.

Tommy Lee will now be given the opportunity to try and make the number one jersey his own.

Spireites manager Lee Richardson said: "We are disappointed that Trevor will be going back in January but we appreciate his time with us.
